Smart Settlements values three things: time, family and dependability.

Carlos has over 15 years of experience in the real estate and title industry. He began his career in real estate after attending George Mason University and selling residential real estate in Great Falls, Virginia.  Shortly after, he obtained a broker’s license before partnering with two local agents and starting an online real estate company. He also began holding bilingual settlements for clients and soon decided to open Smart Settlements to meet the Washington region’s need for a title company that focused on its clients needs (multi-lingual title agents that traveled to a destination that was convenient for agents and buyers).

Carlos is dedicated to helping buyers and sellers navigate the real estate and closing process, as well as helping agents become more successful in their business. Born and raised in the Washington-metro region, Carlos not only understands the distinct culture of this area, he is motivated to improve and give back to the community. He has successfully opened and directed various businesses focused on community improvement throughout DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Carlos enjoys traveling, wine tasting, chess, teaching classes about real estate development and investment, and spending time with his wife and two children.
